Our Privacy Promise to You
Northwest Economic Associates (NEA) respects your right to privacy. We have prepared the following privacy policy to help you understand how we collect and use customer and prospective customer ("client") information, and to reassure you that we are committed to protecting the personal information that you provide to us.
Our privacy policy may change over time with the advancement of Internet technologies and best business practices. Therefore, please check this page periodically for updates. If you have questions about our privacy policy, please contact us.

Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us whenever you visit our Web site and send us an e-mail message, or contact us using other means of communication, such as telephone, fax, postal mail, or in-person conversations. We also gather personal data whenever you voluntarily fill out our surveys and forms, or respond to our special offers.

We make use of statistical software that tracks aggregate data trends, such as the total number of visitors to our Web site each day, week, or month, or the number of times that a particular Web page is clicked during a specified timeframe. This statistical software helps us to determine overall traffic patterns for our Web site; it does not collect or store any personal data, such as your name or e-mail address.

NEA does not currently employ the use of "cookies" or e-commerce technology (such as credit card submission) in connection with our Web site.

How Your Information Is Used
Because we place a high priority on protecting your privacy, NEA does not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. We do not rent or sell your personal information (such as telephone numbers, mailing addresses, etc.) to other companies or individuals—ever!

NEA staff may, from time to time, use your personal contact information to reach you by telephone, e-mail, fax, or to send you news, updates, announcements, or other materials, directly from NEA, that we think may interest you. Occasionally, NEA employs the services of an outside printer, mail house, or service bureau; these vendors may assist us in preparing NEA materials and mailings for you. In this case, our policy is to include confidentiality and data protection provisions in the contracts we make with these vendors. We provide them with the limited information they need to perform their services for NEA, such as names and addresses collected through our communications with customers and prospective customers.

We reserve the right, however, to disclose your personal information to law enforcement agencies and fraud prevention units in special cases, when we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is essential to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to NEA, its clients, other visitors to the NEA Web site, or when we believe in good faith that disclosing such information is in the interest of upholding the law.

Choosing What Information You Receive
Most of our clients and prospective clients appreciate receiving periodic communication and updates from NEA. To ensure that you have a choice in what you receive, our postal mailings and e-mail correspondence with you (with the exception of our personal response to an inquiry initiated by you) will contain instructions about how you can choose not to receive additional mailings or e-mailings from us (known as "opt-out" or "unsubscribe"). If you send us an "opt-out" or "unsubscribe" notification, please allow 10 business days for processing.

Please understand that if you choose not to receive mail or e-mail correspondence from NEA, you may reduce our ability to provide you with effective and timely customer service.

About Security
NEA strives to keep our clients’ and prospective clients’ information safe and secure. Our company has policies in place to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information. We carefully select vendors and Web-based services that also have excellent track records for data security and reliability. Please be advised that no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; any Web sites you visit and information you share with us is done at your own risk.

The NEA Web site (www.nwecon.com/) contains links to other Internet sites that we feel may be of interest to you. Please note that we are not responsible for the security, privacy practices, policies, or content of these other Web sites.
