Ms. Larson joined NEA in 2001 after gaining experience as
a Billing Analyst for Electric Lightwave, Inc., in Vancouver, Washington.
Her experience has given her an ability to research and analyze large quantities
of data. During her employment at Electric Lightwave, Inc., Ms. Larson was
responsible for analyzing large billing accounts including AT&T, Qwest,
and Pacific Bell for proper billing of circuits. She also conducted research,
utilizing databases to ensure accuracy. Ms. Larson is skilled in many word
processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, including WordPerfect, Word,
Works, Excel, Lotus, and Access.
Since joining NEA, Ms. Larson has been an integral part of many projects, including creating and maintaining a database for the Torres Martinez Indian Reservation, and producing and printing GIS maps for several other projects at NEA.
Shelly Christensen, Administrative Assistant
Ms. Christensen joined NEA in 2001 after serving as office
manager for the Vancouver office of Lutheran Brotherhood Financial Services
for nine years. Her experience has given her an ability to handle multiple
projects and tasks efficiently. During her employment at Lutheran Brotherhood,
Ms. Christensen was responsible for maintaining a computer database of over
1,200 clients. She also performed customer service, processed new business
applications, filed compliance reports, and conducted marketing campaigns
to increase the client base.
Ms. Christensen has a B.A. in Communications from Central
Washington University and fifteen years of experience
in office management. She is skilled in many word processing, spreadsheet,
and database programs, including WordPerfect, Word, Excel, and Access.
Jim Scovil, Accountant
Mr. Scovil joined NEA in 2000 after working as an accountant
with the City of Vancouver, Washington, for more than 25 years, and has an
additional five years of previous accounting experience. His experience includes
plant accountant, city accountant, city program accountant, and city chief
accountant. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Scovil has developed extensive
knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, grant billing,
debt management, investments, expenses, budgets, profit and loss statements,
and cost reporting.
